Speaking at Abstractions

Abstractions

From August 18 through 20 I will be in Pittsburgh, PA to attend and speak at the inaugural Abstractions conference. As described on the site:

Abstractions is a new conference that brings together everyone involved in modern software development — designers, developers, DevOps, and community leaders — to teach, learn, and connect with each other.

I will be speaking on Friday, August 19 at 2:20pm presenting my talk “Fringe Accessibility” on the Domain Stage. I’ll be presenting alongside an impressive list of speakers (my photo isn’t there as those are invited speakers, so I am sneaking in without anyone really noticing). You should register sooner rather than later to be sure you can see me because I know I am the primary draw and always cause these things to sell out.

The conference is being held at The David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. As usual, I have embedded a map for my own later reference.

Update: July 14, 2016

Visit Pittsburgh has made a micro-site dedicated to helping Abstractions attendees get the most out of their stay in the city.
